I am a Postoctoral Fellow in the Department of Economics at the Università della Svizzera Italiana (Lugano). 

 I completed my PhD at Lancaster University in 2023, and I spent one year as Research Fellow at the Institute of Economics of the Centre for Economic and Regional Studies..

My research lies at the intersection of international trade, industrial policy, and political economy, focusing on how policies and institutions shape firms’ behavior, innovation, and the allocation of talent. I enjoy using historical data whenever possible to explore my research questions.
