My Digital Story story is about my family or the teacher’s family. My story shows pictures of My son and I, my mother and father, my sisters and my brother in-law. I would use this video to introduce the idea of family and culture differences. I would use this at the beginning of the school year to introduce myself to the class. I would have students create a video of their families. The idea would be to introduce ourselves and our families to the class as well as express the cultural differences within our classroom. Students will be able to verbally put an explanation to each picture in their story. Or they may choose to add text to their video and introduce the pictures that way. Above all, they should show pictures than represent their family and what is important to them, such as family gatherings and spending time together. Or maybe express the different holidays their family celebrates.
