ABOUT ME

I am an aerospace, defense, energy, and technology executive with more than 40 years of leadership experience guiding organizations through innovation, transformation, and sustainable growth. My career has spanned Fortune 500 corporations, federal government leadership, emerging technology ventures, and nonprofit organizations, providing me with a unique perspective on governance, strategy, risk oversight, and stakeholder engagement.

As former Vice President of Research & Technology and Head of Sustainability for Airbus Americas, and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, I have led complex organizations, managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios, and developed strategies that have advanced innovation, strengthened operational performance, and accelerated sustainability objectives.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about building high-performing teams, fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders, and transforming ambitious ideas into measurable results. My expertise spans aerospace innovation, clean aviation, advanced manufacturing, energy transition, technology commercialization, enterprise risk management, and public-private partnerships.

Today, I serve as a board director, advisor, speaker, and consultant, helping organizations navigate emerging challenges and opportunities at the intersection of technology, sustainability, governance, and long-term value creation.
