Amanda's Game Development Portfolio

Amanda Hackbardt

I am a graduate from Michigan State University with a B.S. degree in Computer Science with a minor in Game Design and Development, as well as a B.A. degree in Media and Information.

While in University I was employed as a Game Designer at MSU's Games for Entertainment and Learning Lab, as well as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in the College of Communication Arts & Sciences under the direction of Professor Jeremy Bond. I'm currently employed as a Gameplay Programmer at Will Winn Games working on the company's launch title Plunder Panic, out now on all major consoles.

What I love about games is both the storytelling aspect and finding the fun. It's wonderful to see the joy brought to people's faces when I can show them games I've worked hard on. I also have a passion for writing, and have been able to showcase that several times in my game development projects.

When I'm not developing (or playing) games, I love to play with my dogs and try out new recipes for my family.
