Dr. Prasad Krishna
Prof. Prasad Krishna is the recipient of the prestigious Kirlosker Gold Medal and Sir M. Visveswaraya Memorial prize from the University of Mysore for securing First Rank in the B. Tech Programme in Mechanical Engineering (1983) from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal (formerly Karnataka Regional Engineering College). He received his Master’s degree from the IIT Madras winning two silver medals and Prof. Sen Gupto prize for the best academic performance in the Department of Mechanical engineering. Prof. Prasad Krishna obtained his Doctoral Degree in Manufacturing from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, an internationally recognized center of excellence in manufacturing research.

Dr. V Radhakrishnan
Prof.V.Radhakrishnan is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum. In 1961 he was selected by the Government of India to undergo Technical Teacher’s Training Program at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, for three years. During this period he took his M.Tech in Production Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He has worked at IIT Madras as Professor. His specialization is in Manufacturing and Metrology and he pioneered teaching and research in Metrology in the country. He showed exceptional competence and dedication to his area of expertise and proved himself to be an excellent teacher, an outstanding researcher, an able research supervisor, a competent consultant and an innovator. His multifaceted professional capabilities enabled him to publish over 250 highly acclaimed research papers, supervise 24 PhD theses and over 20 MS theses by research. He is internationally recognized for his research contributions in Surface Metrology and Grinding with over 1500 citations. His work has been widely quoted in many classical books in Surface Metrology and Abrasive Machining. His innovative and practical research resulted in eight patents of which one was commercialized.

Dr. Murugaiyan Amirthalingam, Associate Professor, IIT Madras, completed his B.E from Govt. College of Engineering, Salem, Tamil Nadu in 1999. He did his M.S from IIT Madras in 2003 and PhD from Delft University of Technology, Netherlands in 2010. He also completed his PDF from Delft University of Technology, Netherlands in 2015. He has done many works in the field of welding and additive manufacturing. He is also the first and only recipient of "Welding Torch of Honour" for academic contributions to the Welding Technology group of Delft University of Technology, Netherlands, until Dec. 2015. Mr. Alex A
The former Deputy Director of Materials & Manufacturing entity LPSC, ISRO, secured his BTech from College of Engineering Trivandrum in Mechanical Engineering in 1986 and joined LPSC in the same year. He was responsible for setting up a Green field facility for the production of control components and piloted the contract for over three years. He has pioneered 3D printing activities at LPSC and has been instrumental in qualifying parts for use in space programs.

Dr. Y. Ravi Kumar is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Warangal. Dr. Basil Kuriachen
Dr. Basil Kuriachens’ vivacity and dexterity towards abiding commitment to sublime work ethic conferred him with the Ph.D. from NIT Calicut (2015). His resolute research niches are in the field of metal additive manufacturing, micro/nano-machining processes, precision and ultra-precision machining. He is the principal investigator (PI) for many currently active projects from DST-SERB, ARDB, DRDO, Govt. of India, UGC, DAE, TIH_IITG, SERB-IMPRINT, and ISRO. Dr. Bhanuprathap Gaur
Dr Bhanupratap Gaur is Project Manager at BETIC Lab, Mechanical Engineering Department, IIT Bombay, working on patient-customized orthopedic implants and instruments for bone reconstruction surgeries. He is an experienced researcher in product development in the Manufacturing and Biomedical Engineering industries. He developed affordable indigenous titanium alloy bone implants during his PhD from IIT Bombay, filed a patent on bone scaffolds, and published several research articles. He is M Tech in Manufacturing Technology, MBA in Operations Management, and skilled in Metal and Plastic Additive Manufacturing, Medical Device Development, CAD/CAM software, and ISO 13485 Quality Management System.
Currently, he is leading a team at BETIC that is supporting Indian surgeons by providing patient-customized implants and instruments for patients with bone cancers, tumours, and severely broken and deformed bones. He has mentored nine multi-disciplinary teams in developing proofs of concept and prototypes of various medical devices.

Dr. Khalid Rafi is the Senior Additive Manufacturing Program Development Lead for ASTM International. In his role, he is responsible for developing programs on AM education and workforce development, and programs on standardization and certification.
Prior to joining ASTM International, he was leading the AM initiatives at UL, a global testing and Certification Company. He is an experienced Additive Manufacturing professional and metallurgist with a comprehensive understanding on established additive manufacturing technologies and their adoption potential on applicable industry. Established the activities of UL's Global Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence in Singapore and the region by actively collaborating with industry, research institutes, partner labs, and institutes of higher learning.

Dr Jinoop Arackal Narayanan is presently a research fellow in additive manufacturing (process and materials) at Welding and Additive Manufacturing Centre, Cranfield University, UK. Previously, he worked as an industrial postdoctoral researcher at the Multi-scale Additive Manufacturing Lab, University of Waterloo, Canada from 2021-23.
