## 2. Core Features & Permissions Usage

### a. Amazon Search

*   **Search Queries:** The search terms you enter are used to construct a search URL for the official Amazon website. These queries are temporarily stored on your device's local storage to provide you with a "Search History" feature. This history is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

*   **Affiliate Link:** To support the development of this app, search queries are routed through an Amazon Associates affiliate link. This process is handled by Amazon's affiliate program and does not provide us with any personally identifiable information about you.

### b. Manual Expense Tracker

*   **Locally Stored Data:** The App provides an expense tracker feature for you to manually log your financial information. All data you enter is stored exclusively on your device's local storage.

*   **Camera Permission (QR/Barcode Scanning):** We request Camera permission solely to enable the QR/Barcode scanner. This allows you to quickly add expense details by scanning codes. The scanned information is processed on your device and is not transmitted to us.

*   **Photo Library Permission (Image Picking):** We request access to your photo library to allow you to attach images of bills or invoices to your expense entries. These images are stored locally on your device and are not accessed by us.

### c. Encrypted Vault

*   **Locally Stored & Encrypted Data:** The App includes an encrypted vault feature to store sensitive information. All data stored in the vault is encrypted and stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.

*   **Biometric Authentication (Optional):** We request permission to use Biometric Authentication (e.g., Fingerprint, Face ID) to provide an optional, convenient, and secure way to access your vault. This process is managed by your device's operating system, and we do not have access to your biometric data.

*   **Video Player:** The app includes a video player to allow you to view video files stored within your encrypted vault. The video files are decrypted and played locally on your device.

### d. Data Backup and Restore

*   **Feature Description:** The app provides a feature to create an encrypted local backup of your application data. This is intended for data migration (moving to a new device) or for personal archival purposes.

*   **Data Included:** The backup file includes your app settings, expenses, budgets, and the encrypted contents of your secure vault.

*   **Encryption and User-Created Password:** The backup file is encrypted using a password that you create. **We do not store, know, or have the ability to recover this password.** If you lose or forget this password, the backup file cannot be restored and the data within it is permanently inaccessible.

*   **User Responsibility:** You are **solely responsible for the security and confidential storage of the exported backup file (`amamazino_backup.enc`) and the password you used to create it.** Once the file is exported from the app, its security is under your control.

*   **Data Deletion:** Deleting the Amamazino app from your device will not delete any backup files you have previously exported and saved in other locations (e.g., your device's downloads folder, a cloud storage service, etc.).

### e. Order Reminders

*   **Calendar Permission:** We request Calendar permission to allow you to save order reminders as events on your device's calendar. The app uses this permission only to create events at your request. We do not access, read, or modify your existing calendar entries.

### f. User Input

*   **Email and Phone Number:** Some features within the app may ask for your email or phone number for specific functionalities (e.g., setting up an account for the encrypted vault). This information is stored locally and securely on your device and is not transmitted to us.

### g. Trending News & Snake Game

Trending News:

* *   **Publicly Available Information:** The trending news feature aggregates content from publicly available RSS feeds. The feature does not require access to any of your personal data to function.

*   **No Tracking:** We do not track which news articles you read. When you tap on a news story, you may be directed to an external website. Your interaction with these external sites is governed by their own respective privacy policies.

 Snake Game :

*   **Self-Contained Feature:** The App includes a classic snake game for entertainment purposes. This game is entirely self-contained and operates offline.

*   **No Data Collected:** The game does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or gameplay data.

### h. World Clock and Time Synchronization

*   **Network Time Synchronization:** To provide accurate world times, the World Clock feature periodically syncs with an external time service ([https://worldtimeapi.org](https://worldtimeapi.org)). This service determines the current time based on the IP address from which the request is made.

*   **IP Address:** Your IP address is sent to this third-party service to get the correct time for your region. We do not log, store, or otherwise process your IP address on our servers. This data is used ephemerally and only for the purpose of time synchronization.

*   **No Precise Location:** This feature does not request or use your device'''s GPS or any other form of precise location data.

*   **Third-Party Privacy Policy:** The use of this service is also governed by the privacy policy of `worldtimeapi.org`.

### i. Currency Converter

*   **Live Exchange Rates:** To provide up-to-date exchange rates for the travel mode and currency conversion features, the app connects to an external API ([https://open.er-api.com](https://open.er-api.com)).

*   **IP Address:** Your IP address is sent to this third-party service to fetch the correct exchange rates. We do not log, store, or otherwise process your IP address. This data is used ephemerally and only for the purpose of providing the currency conversion.

*   **No Precise Location:** This feature does not request or use your device's GPS or any other form of precise location data.

*   **Third-Party Privacy Policy:** The use of this service is also governed by the privacy policy of `open.er-api.com`.

### j. Time Synchronization for Security (NTP Service)

To ensure the integrity and security of time-sensitive operations within the app, such as generating Time-based One-Time Passwords (TOTP) for your Vault, it is critical that your device's clock is accurate.

To achieve this, the app periodically synchronizes its time with a trusted Network Time Protocol (NTP) server (e.g., `time.google.com`). This process involves sending a network request from your device to the NTP server. As with any internet traffic, this request includes your device's IP address.

This data is used solely for the purpose of obtaining the correct time and is processed by the third-party NTP provider according to their own privacy policies. We do not log or store your IP address for this purpose. This time verification is essential for protecting your vault against certain types of attacks and ensuring your data remains secure.

### k. Offline AI Assistant

*   **Feature Description:** The app includes an offline AI assistant to help you manage your finances. You can ask the assistant questions in natural language (e.g., "How much did I spend on groceries this month?") to get quick insights from the data you've already stored in the app.

*   **Offline Processing:** All AI processing happens directly on your device. Your conversations and financial data are **never** sent to an external server or a third party. This ensures the highest level of privacy and security.

*   **Data Access:** To answer your questions, the assistant needs to access data you have already stored within the app, such as your expense list, budget information, and spending categories. This data is read-only and is not modified by the assistant.

*   **Personalization:** The app uses a `UserPersonalizationService` to train a model based on your financial habits and interactions. This model is stored locally on your device and is used to provide you with more relevant and personalized insights over time. This model and your data are never shared.

*   **Local Logging:** To improve the assistant's performance and your experience, we log your interactions with the assistant locally on your device using the `LocalDataService`. This log is for your own reference and can be cleared by you. It is not transmitted to us.

### l. Device Hardware Information (for Vault Capacity)

*   **Data Collected:** To optimize your experience and ensure stable performance, the app checks your device's total physical memory (RAM) one time when setting up the vault.

*   **Purpose of Collection:** This information is used exclusively to determine the maximum storage capacity of your secure Vault. The Vault size is adjusted based on the available RAM to prevent performance issues on your device (e.g., devices with less RAM are allocated a smaller Vault size).

*   **Data Privacy:** Your device's RAM information is **not** stored, transmitted off your device, or used for any other purpose. It is not linked to your personal identity in any way.

## 3. Third-Party Services

*   **Firebase Analytics:** To understand how users interact with our App and to improve its features and user experience, we use Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google. This service collects aggregated, anonymous data such as which features are used most often, session duration, and crash data. We also use it to log specific, anonymous events, like adding an expense or creating a budget, to help us improve the app. This data does not personally identify you. *   **Amazon:** When you perform a search, you are interacting directly with the Amazon website. Your interaction is governed by Amazon's own privacy policy.

*   **World Time API:** As mentioned above, we use `worldtimeapi.org` for time synchronization.
