I use a Rode NT1 5th Generation Studio Condenser Microphone, SSL2 Audio Interface Solid State Logic and use Audacity for recording and to reduce background noise.

For voice recording and calls for future live recordings, it is all done in my wide closet space because I do not have a booth but as most would tell me, it is better than no space.
