PROJECT FORTH in Apolinario Mabini Elementary School
Apolinario Mabini Elementary School, through the recommendation of the DepEd Division of Bacolod City Schools Division Superintendent Ma’am Cynthia G. Demavivas in cooperation with the University of St. La Salle Bacolod, commissioned to be a part of the Project FORTH as School Year 2019-2020 starts.
Project FORTH ( Formation of Teachers in Challenged Areas )is a capacity building project for higher education co-funded by the European Commission..
It aims to create a teacher formation program that would prepare teachers to be transformative agents of teaching and learning in their respective schools and offer a new major “teaching in challenged areas”.
Apolinario Mabini Elementary School is the sole elementary school recipient of the said project in the Division of Bacolod which will enjoy an international partnership from its resources, teaching strategies and many others.
Mrs. Cristina C. Mayo was chosen as the school representative to be trained under the National Poll of Trainers which in turn will echo back to its recipient school.
She will undergo various trainings nationwide and will have a chance to bench mark abroad.
“The school is fortunate enough to be its recipient as we will be helping hand in hand to improve the performance of the pupils”, Project FORTH representative said.
“We are excited to be working with you all and be of great help to our dear children”, she added.
