Whether you’re majoring in marketing, business, communications, or any other field, AMA is the perfect place for you. Our doors are open to students from all majors who are eager to explore the world of marketing, expand their professional network, and develop essential skills.

STEPS TO BECOME A MEMBER

UHCL AMA - Spring 2025 Application

Step 1: Complete the Online Application

Fill out the google form in order to begin the process of becoming a member! Read the form description for more information.

Step 2: Receive the Acceptance Letter

Anticipate an email from us stating you are an approved member!

Step 3: Pay Local and National Membership Dues

Follow these steps to pay your membership fees. Make sure to pay both the local and national fees before proceeding to the next step.

Step 4: Request to Join AMA on GetInvolved

Log in to UHCL GetInvolved and sign up for AMA. If you’ve completed all the previous steps, you should receive approval from AMA on GetInvolved.

Step 5: Receive your Free T-shirt

Attend the next meeting to receive your point sheet and free AMA t-shirt! Follow along with AMA's point system to receive an honor cord. More information about our point system is available below.

Step 6: Congratulations!

Congratulations! You're officially a member of American Marketing Association! Stay up to date on AMA events and workshops on our socials. Experience, enjoy, and have fun!
