Privacy Policy for Chronometer by ABMS Lab
Chronometer
The Chronometer by ABMS Lab is an advanced time alarm system featuring the Aliat offline AI voice assistant and eight stunning visual styles.
It seamlessly integrates a precise chronometer with a time organizer, battery health monitoring, and a customizable Hijri calendar.
We take care of privacy and security of your personal information.
At ABMS Lab, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how our application, Chronometer by ABMS Lab, handles your data.
1. Information Collection and Use
Our app is designed to provide high-performance timing and organizational tools while respecting user privacy.
• Location Data: The app requests access to your device's location (Approximate and Precise) to synchronize with meteorological services and provide real-time weather updates. This data is processed ephemerally. We do not store your location on any servers, nor do we track your movement history.
• Audio Data (Microphone): The app uses the microphone for the Voice Assistant (Speech-to-Text). We use the Vosk offline engine, which means all voice processing happens locally on your device. We do not record, store, or transmit your voice data.
2. Third-Party Services
We use a third-party weather API (wttr.in) to provide environmental data. When you request a weather report, your coordinates are sent to this service to retrieve weather information. No personally identifiable information is shared.
3. Data Security
Any data transmitted (such as weather requests) is sent over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS). We do not share your data with any third-party advertisers or data brokers.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Since we do not store your personal data on any servers, there is no data to delete. Any data used (like location) is cleared from memory as soon as the specific task is completed.
5. Children’s Privacy
Our app does not knowingly collect any information from children. It is a utility tool designed for general use.
