The Moon-Sighting Committee of the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America announces that Thursday, July 16th, 2026, will be the first day of Safar, 1448 A.H. for the entire region of North America.
Al Zahra Center sends the deepest condolences to Imam of our time (ajtf) and to the whole community on the upcoming sorrows of the month of Safar, which includes:
Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (as), the rihlah of Prophet Muhammad (saw), and the martyrdom anniversaries of Imam Hasan (as) and Imam ar-Rida (as).
May Allah (swt) reward us all in our mourning this month, inshallah.
