Alzahra Islamic Center wishes to inform the community that according to the multiplicity of horizons principle, the first day of the month of Rabi al-Awwal, 1448 A.H., for believers in New Mexico is Friday, August 14, 2026.

We ask Allah, the Most High, for success in performing good deeds and hasten the Return of Our Master, Imam al-Mahdi (ajjala Allahu ta'ala farajahu al-sharif).

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

We are excited to announce Al Zahra Islamic Center’s Free Tutoring Program, beginning tomorrow! Tutoring will be available every Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:00–8:00 PM for students in grades K–12.

We will be offering Math, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, including homework help, test preparation, and concept review.

Please scan the QR code on the flyer to register.

The program is completely free and open to everyone: students do not need to be affiliated with Al Zahra Islamic Center to receive tutoring. Please feel free to share the flyer with any families or students who may be interested.
