School Spirit Competition

There is no cost for teams to enter the School Spirit Competition

Easily build team camaraderie or complete service hours in a positive & fun atmosphere

Winning group receives a free pizza party from Sloopy's (up to $100 value)

The School Spirit Competition is open to any high school team, club, squad, or group.
This is not a skills-based competition. Just have fun and be creative!
The goal of the School Spirit Competition is simple:
- Build camaraderie among your group.
- Encourage and support participants in the Walk to End Alzheimer's.
The School Spirit Competition winner will be determined by Walk-appointed judges and announced on the Walk's Facebook Group page.
The Competition is limited to 16 teams who will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Event day set-up details will be emailed to each group's contact approximately two weeks prior to Walk Day.
All teams will be responsible for supplying their own equipment and for cleaning up their own space after the Walk.
No power or water sources will be provided.
Registration for the 2024 competition will close on August 30th.

9:00 AM: Groups may begin setting up at their assigned location.
9:45 AM: All School Spirit Competition teams must be ready to go.
10:00 AM: The Walk begins! Walkers will pass the School Spirit Competition area soon after the Walk starts.
11:00 AM: The last walker should pass by your area around this time.
11:15 AM: The School Spirit Competition officially ends. All teams can begin tearing down and cleaning up.
12:00 PM: Competition tear down ends. All groups must leave their space exactly as they found it.
Saturday evening: The winning team is announced on the Walk's Facebook Group page.
