In this project, I used Power BI to analyze survey data from 630 data professionals, focusing on career satisfaction, entry difficulty, and software preferences. I handled all data cleaning and analysis in Power BI, setting up slicers for gender, country, and ethnicity to allow the ability to filter insights by demographics.
The dashboard includes gauges for happiness with salary and work/life balance, a pie chart for entry difficulty, and bar charts showing average salary by job title and preferred programs. Cards display total submissions and average age, with all visuals responding dynamically to slicer adjustments.
Key findings revealed moderate satisfaction with salary and work/life balance (rated at 5), and a neutral perception of difficulty in entering the field. There are even more nuanced differences across demographic groups, providing an in-depth look into the experiences of data professionals.
