Bounty is a single-player, deck/dungeon-building card game about trying to claim a bounty on various dungeons! A bounty is the act of clearing a dungeon, effectively stopping its growth from impacting nearby folk.
Aesthetically, it is intended to be heavily inspired by the game Loop Hero by Four Quarters, while mechanically is an interesting spin on typical roguelike deck builders such as the Slay the Spire series by Mega Crit.
Art of the Vagabond, a playable character in Bounty, in the Loop Hero style for study purposes.
Design sketch for a group of enemies in a dungeon known as the Courtyard. Features a large gargoyle gardener, a living armor helper, and small plant monsters.
Concept for the Renegade, a playable character that aims to fill the dungeon / deck with traps to make up for a lack of defenses.
A lineup of concepts for the playable characters. The leftmost has since been replaced by the Renegade, while the other three (Vagabond, Cartographer, and Stalwart) all remain.
Visual concepting for an enemy group known as the Litlings, a horde of small fire spirits that scatter to burn down forests, towns, and more. There are various examples of them using other creatures or constructs as mounts, as well as using light fixtures such as chandeliers and lanterns as homes or defenses.
I'm still in the process of developing the core concept and identity of the gameplay, but when there's any sort of public playtest or other version of the game, it will be put here!
