Lake District Storyteller, Therapist, Facilitator, Coach
I am a freelancer based in Ambleside, Cumbria offering outdoor therapeutic services and storytelling events.
I am a HCPC and British Association of Dramatherapists - registered Drama & Movement Therapist, and a qualified Environmental Arts Therapist. I support clients in creatively expressing their inner emotional worlds through story, art, and movement as they grow roots through connection to place and grounding in the living world.
I have spent the past six years studying Celtic myth & legend and have told stories around fires literal and figurative across the world, including in the UK, USA, and Thailand. I believe we pass stories between us as medicine for universal challenges, and that stories are for people of all ages and places.
Currently I am a PhD candidate at University of Cumbria Ambleside researching new materialist philosophies and how we live, learn, and move with theory through methodologies of autoethnography and creative-relational inquiry.
I am also a rock climber, trail/fell runner, and general outdoorsperson, and feel most grounded when working and spending time outdoors.
I love collaborating with other creative professionals and am always willing to listen to an idea!
