Initially, realising that a project was required for this subject made me anxious about the hurdles I would have to overcome. However, more positive aspects were explored in this project along the way. Notably, in terms of the overall journey, I had competent teammates who could assist me whenever I needed them and the deadlines for completing tasks were reasonable. Similarly, in regard to the learning process, I learned a variety of knowledge specifically in web designing and discovered detailed information about the research topic.
Despite this, if I had to pinpoint the greatest obstacle throughout this journey, it would be time management. Since my peers and I are still in our early semesters, we needed time to adapt to our hectic schedules. Fortunately, my groupmates and I resolved it easily as we try our best to make time for one another and have excellent chemistry when it comes to teamwork. Additionally, since website designing was a new experience, my groupmates had to help me, and this made me worried about not being able to match their competence. If I were to mention a hurdle that I could not resolve, it would be the feeling of guilt for not being able to perform better individually as I felt like I might negatively affect my groupmates.
Nonetheless, I realised that staying optimistic and believing that the exposure, skills, and knowledge I received were more crucial than creating the 'perfect' project. Likewise, enjoying the process was a crucial key to avoiding unnecessary stress. Therefore, persistence was another positive trait to have for a successful outcome and for encountering obstacles in the future.
Notably, I am pleased to say that I acquired many new application skills while drafting this assignment. My in-depth understanding of this research topic would be my most remarkable learning experience. Since COVID-19 pandemic has been announced, cashless transactions have been strongly encouraged. I am glad our website can provide further insights and heavily contribute to the society. In short, the knowledge acquired during this period will come in handy for my future projects, and I am grateful for my incredible teammates who made this journey smooth and memorable.

The process of writing the research paper has allowed me to gain a better understanding of the subject. It has also taught me various skills that are necessary for writing a good research paper such as properly citing sources, utilising formal language and referencing peer reviewed articles for credibility. Additionally, I learnt how to use various research tools, especially the library resources provided by Sunway University.
Prior to writing the research paper, I had a limited amount of knowledge on the chosen topic. This led to difficulties in elaborating on certain key aspects. To overcome this, I read more sources which include those from different authors with opposing viewpoints. This allowed me to provide a more informed and unbiased narrative on the topic. Another challenge I faced was creating the reference list. Even with a guide from the library, it was still a perplexing task. Referencing was a challenge because different sources require different referencing methods. For example, one of the sources that I had to reference was an edited book and there was a specific citation when it came to referencing a chapter in an edited book. This was extremely confusing to me so I sought assistance from my peers.
Throughout the journey, I am truly grateful to have my groupmates. They have been extremely pleasant to work with and were always there to help. Angel would ensure that we were making progress and that we met our deadlines. This kept our group organised. Mae Jhin would constantly check on our research paper and point out any errors as well as provide suggestions to correct them. This was helpful as it allowed us to minimise the mistakes made. This group has taught me the importance of having good teamwork and effective communication. We were always open to receiving feedback from one another and that was one of the main factors that led to our good teamwork.
Overall, the process of writing this research paper was both challenging and rewarding as it provided me with valuable experience that would be of help when I become part of the working force in the future.

Upon hearing the news that my coursework requirement included a research project, I was already concerned about the obstacles before my previous research project during my foundation studies. However, this time it was reading academic-based resources and building a portfolio instead of conducting surveys.
In general, this project has helped me in exploring various positive aspects. It sculptured my critical thinking skills through skimming many journal articles and identifying key points that are relevant to our topic. It also made me understand that team effort was an essential factor in overcoming obstacles together. The reason was that I was unable to find enough journal articles to support my argument due to my time constraints. This problem was quickly overcome as I asked for help from my groupmates in searching for relevant journal articles. On top of that, I learned that our topic was meaningful to our community considering it revolved around the subject of money. We identified the common claims between each article after synthesizing them, thus giving our additional research credibility. Thus, having a portfolio enable us to amplify the message that such technology should be implemented on a global scale.
Moving on, I have also picked up the importance of time management. Given that my groupmates and I were placed on tight schedules, we had to agree on stipulated time frames to ensure our progress was on track. At one point, I was feeling demotivated in completing the tasks we have delegated at the starting stage of the project. My groupmates played a huge role in encouraging me to carry out the drafting process by guiding and piecing the supporting evidence altogether. For instance, Su-Lyn advised me that my points did not indicate a strong relationship between therefore she suggested phrasing my points in another way. Overall, I am grateful to have them as my groupmates.
If I were to come across research again, I would attempt to dedicate more time to skim through articles to acquire more knowledge to construct my arguments. In a nutshell, these new skills attained from this project will be beneficial when I step into the workforce in the foreseeable future.
