Always Sunday is a women-owned business created by a mother-daughter team with a shared love of food, family, and bringing people together.
For us, food has always been tied to memories. Sunday dinners were a big part of our family. Gathering around the table, the smell of something cooking when you walked through the door, and everyone lingering a little longer because no one was quite ready for the day to end. Those are the memories at the heart of Always Sunday.
Inspired by Sunday, made for everyday.
Years later, that love of food became Balch's Soup, Salad and More, our family's restaurant. Homemade soups were a huge part of what we did, and many became customer favorites. Even years after the restaurant closed, people still asked when the soups were coming back. We never really forgot that.
Now we are bringing them back in a way that fits where we are today.
Always Sunday combines those familiar recipes and years of restaurant and catering experience with a fresh perspective. As a future dietitian, my daughter brings passion for wholesome ingredients, balanced meals, and food that supports the way people actually live.
Together, we want to create food that can be comforting and thoughtful, from the soups people remember, to prepared meals, fresh options, catering and new ideas still to come.
This isn't about recreating the old restaurant exactly as it was. It's about carrying forward the parts that mattered most: homemade food, real ingredients, familiar flavors, and the feeling that there's always room for one more at the table.
That's Always Sunday
