Your privacy is critically important to us. Always Remember ("the App") is designed to respect your privacy and give you full control over your personal reminders, birthdays, and anniversaries.
1. Information Collection and Storage
The App is a standalone, local utility tool. We do not collect, transmit, track, store on remote servers, or sell any of your personal information or data.
- Local Storage Only: All reminder titles, notes, scheduled dates, and recurrence preferences created within the App are stored 100% locally on your Android device using local device storage.
- No Analytics or Ads: The App does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or user behavior analytics frameworks.
2. Android Permissions Used
The App requests specific Android system permissions strictly necessary to deliver its core reminder functionality:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13+ to display persistent status bar notifications for your pinned reminders.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used to automatically restore your pinned reminders and scheduled alarms after your device reboots.
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM & WAKE_LOCK: Used to deliver your scheduled alarms at the exact minute requested and temporarily wake the CPU to post notifications when your device screen is off.
3. Third-Party Services
The App does not use or integrate with third-party web APIs, cloud servers, or external user tracking services.
4. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, the App is safe for general audiences.
