ABOUT

Mission

We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide free dance classes to children and adults with developmental disabilities through Zoom. In these uncertain times, we hope to bring joy to their day through dance.

Our Story

Elliana has been volunteering at Reimagine in Orange County with children with disabilities since seventh grade. Reimagine is a non-profit organization that provides services to people with developmental disabilities (Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, etc). She mainly worked with the children's program, aiding occupational, speech, and physical therapists and staff. She helped children learn how to do daily tasks and saw their growth, allowing her to recognize her desire to contribute to their community.

Zoom dance classes have become popular during the COVID-19 pandemic. But they can be costly and no classes have been available for children with special needs. Unable to volunteer in the summer of 2020, she still wanted to give the participants whom she was working with at Reimagine in Orange County something to do during the pandemic. She had the idea of starting a Zoom dance class and, therefore, created Always Dancing Project.
