History Behind the Artwork:
The artist created this piece in the 5th grade at school while learning about variations in patterns. The cool part is that she can remember doing a similar, but more challenging exercisse in her 2D design class at University using paint chips from the store, and it was one of her favorite lessons. The artist doesn't remember much from when she made this, except that green was her favorite color.
About the Artist:
Erin Phillips loved crating for as long as she can remmber. She was the kid who always added a little something extra to her coloring page or art project. Two and a half years into Erin's college music studies she decided to change to pursuing a degree in Fine Arts, and later obtained an MFA in Media Design from Full Sail University in 2022. If asked to define what art is, she would say art is an expression of individualism. For herself, when it's hard to convey thoughts and feelings in complete sentences, Erin finds it easier to communicate through her artwork.
