Short Bio
I am Associate Professor in the Cyber Physical Systems Group, School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton. I have research interests in systems modelling with aerospace and biomedical application, control systems and Monte Carlo methods. Before joining Southampton in 2022, I was a Lecturer in the Department of Engineering at the University of Leicester, and, previously, a Research Associate in the Control Group at the University of Cambridge (2003- 2006), and a post-doc researcher at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium (2001 - 2003). I also held visiting appointments at the Australian National University, Canberra. I have a Laurea (5-year degree) in Information Engineering , University of Pavia, and a PhD in Automatic Control, University of Brescia.
