History

Alugoke Nig ltd started as a foundation oriented project for successful indegines of Alu ( a town in yagba-east LGA Kogi State Nigeria) to help thier children and children of other families at that time when the community was lacking the basic amenities of modern day, over the years few people were sponsored to the city and got the proper education and orientation that enables them to be self reliant house holders, but the chain didn't continue as envisioned by the founder who later made the bold move to register the business entity under the government and from 1976 onwards Alugoke Nig ltd is a legitimate business entity in Nigeria. The organisation has many divisions with different types of profit making strategies but the central board itself is a social enterprise still in the business of raising and educating people of the rural village where our ancestors fought to protect and raise us from generations to generation. Today we basically solve the problem of rural development through education and entrepreneurship development of the people of Alu.- hence the name Alugoke (means Alu progressive experience)

Who we are

The first profession of the founder of Alugoke Nig ltd is electrical engineering, the electrical team has carved a niche for itself in Kwara State where it is responsible for many of the government contracts that links rural areas to the national grid of electricity the electrical engineering team has been active for over 50 years with government awards as the best electrical contractor in Kwara State 2013.

The mechanical/industrial design team has been responsible for many prestigious design and operation of notable works for medium scale industries like forgo battery, Kam wires , Ayobello conglomerate, Henry George ltd etc.

The agricultural industrial team is most popular among the people of yagba east LGA Kogi State because it is the only major indigenous agriculture raw materials processing factory and drinking water factory in the region.

Alugoke Hydro works is renowned for many domestic and industrial geological projects country wide.

Alugoke Nig ltd is recognized by the NYSC, ITF,NAFDAC etc, as a globally oriented training institute - we have trained over 1000 interns and apprentices over the space of 25 years, not to mention the unofficial trainings for the people of Alu Wich doubles the official interns.
