When I was struggling, I wished someone had told me something simple yet profound: Life can be messy and things happen. Overwhelming feelings aren't meant to last forever. Sometimes we get stuck in those feelings and our stories.
I don't know what you've been through, but as a fellow human, I've navigated my own share of challenges and stuckness. My intention is to provide a safe space to address whatever has brought you here.
In one view, I see therapy as a self-care tool designed to address what's causing suffering and stuckness, free up energy, and help discover or strengthen the resources that support flow and well-being. How this maps for you is as unique and individual as you are. Honoring the journey and history might be new or "been there, done that, and seeking to move forward with intention." For some, therapy may be where the unspoken can finally begin to be expressed. Some make therapy part of weekly self-care to stay clear on their goals and how they navigate obstacles or calamities. And many include weekly sessions to support their harm reduction or recovery action plans.
