You receive a secret message from the Guardian of Heritage:
"Mass tourism is destroying the trails of my ancestors. Only you, the members of the Society, can save them. Collect artifacts, solve puzzles, and create a revival plan. At the end, assemble the key phrase from the code words which will become the motto of your Society for the revival of sustainable tourism in Belarus. Remember: the keys to salvation are in your teamwork".
The students are members of the Belarus Alternative Tourism Society. Their mission is to save the “forgotten trails of Belarus” from disappearing due to mass tourism. The mysterious Guardian of Heritage leaves clues in the form of code words across the country. The teams decode them, collect virtual “artifacts” and at the final stage present their own plan for the development of sustainable tourism in Belarus.
To participate in the webquest “Whispers of Belarus: Hidden Paths Unveiled” follow the following STEPS:
1) Follow the link or scan the QR code to register for the webquest. Every participant needs to register individually to gain access.
2) Make a copy of the webquest logbook to your Google Drive (select File > Make a copy) to note down the code words after finishing each task successfully.
3) The authors of the webquest need access to your webquest:
click Share settings (top right corner of the Google document),
