Alta Loma Middle School PTA

We are a school where students thrive and children feel good about the place they call their school. We believe that this is because of the incredible students that attend our school, the awesome staff who believe that relationships with students are key to optimal learning and more importantly the incredible support of our families. We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support.

Donations help pay for:

Additional Outdoor Lunch Tables and Shade / PE Department Equipment / $125 Teacher Grants / 8th Grade Promotion Dance / 6th and 7th Grade End-of-Year Activities / Teacher Appreciation / PTA events like Glow Dance and more!

All students who collect donations by Dec. 4th will have a chance to earn a prize!

Students receive a free gift with any donation amount—With any donation amount, students will get an ALMS fidget clicker. Limit one per student.
Weekly Class Competition at Advisory—Advisory class weekly challenge for top % donation participation, one advisory class per grade level. Prizes include extra recess, free Royal Pin donuts, and Otter Pops for each of the top class.
Prizes for Top Participants & Prize Drawings for All Participants—Lucky students with the most donation participation & students with any donation amount can win gift cards or vouchers from one of these sponsors
School-Wide Activities when we reach the donation goal—If we reach $10K goal, students will get extra recess. If we reach $15K goal, students will receive Otter Pops AND extra recess. If we reach $25K goal, each class will earn a movie day.

WHO are we?

We are the advocates for the students of Alta Loma Middle School. The PTA is a 501(c)(3) organization and part of the California PTA, a 100% volunteer organization run by parents and teachers.

WHAT do we do?

We help organize fundraising activities and events to engage the students, teachers and families in our children's success.

WHERE do we meet?

We meet on Zoom. Link will be shared in Ram Alerts, ParentSquare, and social media.

WHEN do we meet?

The general PTA meetings will meet at 7:00pm 4 times per school year. Please see calendar for actual dates. Our next PTA Meeting is on Thursday, November 5th at 7:00pm. Click here to join.

WHY do we need a PTA?

Strong family-school partnerships make big differences. When families and schools work together, our kids win. Well-informed, engaged parents make a difference for student success in school and beyond. A home environment that encourages learning is a bigger factor in student achievement than a parent's income, education level or cultural background. Whether it's reading together, monitoring homework at the kitchen table, talking to teachers about a child's progress, joining PTA or taking an active part in school governance and decision-making, parent involvement is vital to student achievement.
