WELCOME!

Welcome to Dance Education. This course is designed to expose the beginner, intermediate, and advanced level student to the well-rounded art of dancing. It is the foundation course for the dance curriculum and does not require previous dance experience. This class will focus on basic modern, ballet, social dance, jazz and hip-hop dance techniques. The student will be able to recognize and identify the introductory vocabulary and history of dance. Students enrolled in this course will participate in a culminating performance at the end of the semester.

• Stay informed on all things school related. Guidelines for the opening of school will come from the leaders in our state and we will be following all of those. Fine Arts Education remains a core part of a student's education and I will do all I can to ensure a quality dance experience.
