Privacy Policy
Alarmo: Mission Alarm Clock
Effective date: October 3, 2026
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Alarmo ("the App", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, where it is stored, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Alarmo app for iPhone and its widgets and extensions.
We built Alarmo so that most of what you do stays on your phone. Your mission photos, sleep sound clips, speech and camera checks never leave your device. Where data does leave your device, this policy says exactly where it goes.
If you have any questions, contact us at bmgiosapp@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple shares your name and email with us, and you can choose to hide your real email using Apple's private relay address. If you sign in with email and password, your password is handled by Google Firebase Authentication and is never visible to us.
Profile and group details. Names, group names and avatars you enter in the Groups feature are stored on your device.
Feedback and feature requests. When you send feedback from Settings, we receive the text you write, your account identifier, the app version and build number, and the time it was sent.
Referral codes. If you enter a referral code, it is checked on your device.
2.2 Information created when you use the App
Alarms and wake-up data. Your alarms, schedules, missions, wake-up times, streaks, streak freezes and weekly progress.
Sleep tracking data. When you start a sleep session, the App records how long you slept, how much you moved, and when it heard snoring, coughing or sleep talking. A few seconds of audio around each detected sound is saved on your device only so you can play it back. These clips are deleted automatically after seven days.
Mission photos. Photos you take during a mission are saved in the App's private storage on your device only to build your Morning Memories. They are not uploaded.
2.3 Information collected automatically
Identifiers. A Firebase user ID, which is created automatically when you first open the App, even before you sign up; a RevenueCat app user ID; and, through AppsFlyer, your device's Identifier for Vendors (IDFV). If you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, AppsFlyer also receives your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
Purchase information. Which subscription you hold, when it started, and whether it is active, trial or expired. We never receive your payment card details. Apple handles all payments.
Advertising attribution. Whether you installed the App after seeing an ad, and the "initiated checkout" event when you tap a purchase button. If you came from an Apple Search Ads campaign, Apple's attribution token tells us which campaign it was.
Crash and performance data. Crash logs, device model, iOS version, app version and diagnostic information, which help us find and fix bugs. This data is not linked to your account.
2.4 Device permissions
The App asks for these permissions only when a feature needs them. You can refuse any of them, or turn them off later in iPhone Settings. Refusing only disables the related feature.
Alarms (AlarmKit): We request this permission so your alarm rings reliably, even when your phone is locked or a Focus is on. This information does not leave your device.
Notifications: We request this permission for bedtime reminders and alarm-related alerts. This information does not leave your device.
Camera: We request this permission to photograph the object or sky a mission asks for. This information does not leave your device.
Microphone: We request this permission to check that you spoke during reading missions and to detect sounds during a sleep session. This information does not leave your device.
Speech recognition: We request this permission to check that you read the verse or affirmation aloud. Recognition runs on your device and does not leave your device.
Motion: We request this permission to count shakes in the Shake Phone mission and measure movement during sleep. This information does not leave your device.
Screen Time (Family Controls): We request this permission to block the apps you choose until you finish your morning mission. Apple does not tell us which apps you picked. This information does not leave your device.
Tracking (App Tracking Transparency): We request this permission only to learn which ad brought you to Alarmo. If you allow tracking, this information is shared with AppsFlyer.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
Run the App: ring your alarms, run missions, track your streaks and show your sleep and wake-up insights.
Sync and restore your alarms, wake-up history and sleep summaries across reinstalls and devices when you are signed in.
Manage your subscription: unlock Premium features and restore purchases.
Measure our advertising: learn which ads and campaigns bring people to the App, so we can spend our budget wisely.
Fix problems: diagnose crashes and improve performance.
Respond to you: read and act on the feedback and feature requests you send.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use your alarms, missions, photos, sleep data or recordings for advertising.
4. Legal Bases
India: we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you use the App, grant a permission or allow tracking, and for the legitimate uses the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 allows. You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
EEA, UK and Switzerland:
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases:
Performance of a contract: to provide the App, your account, sync and your subscription.
Consent: for advertising tracking through App Tracking Transparency, and for device permissions such as the camera and microphone. You can withdraw consent at any time in iPhone Settings.
Legitimate interests: to keep the App secure and stable, fix crashes, and measure the performance of our advertising without tracking you across other companies' apps.
Legal obligation: where we must keep or disclose information by law.
5. Third-Party Services
We use a small number of service providers. Each one receives only what it needs.
Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Analytics): Used for sign-in, cloud sync, feedback storage and crash reports. It receives email, name, user ID, synced alarm and sleep data, feedback, and crash and performance data.
Privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
RevenueCat: Used for subscription management. It receives your App user ID and purchase history.
Privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
AppsFlyer: Used for install attribution. It receives IDFV, IDFA only with your permission, checkout events, and device and app information.
Privacy policy: https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/privacy-policy/
myasa.cloud: Used for Apple Search Ads attribution. It receives Apple's attribution token and the RevenueCat App user ID.
Privacy policy: https://myasa.cloud
Apple: Used for payments, Sign in with Apple, Search Ads attribution and Screen Time. Information is handled as described in Apple's own privacy policy.
Privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Firebase Analytics is used in a mode that does not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA).
6. Tracking and Your Choice
Alarmo asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before AppsFlyer can read your advertising identifier.
If you allow tracking, AppsFlyer receives your IDFA and the "initiated checkout" event, so we can measure which ads work.
If you do not allow it, AppsFlyer uses only your IDFV and Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork, and your IDFA is never read.
You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
7. How Long We Keep Information
Sleep sound clips: Deleted from your device automatically after 7 days.
Mission photos: Stored on your device until you delete them, delete your account, or delete the App.
Synced account data: Kept until you delete your account.
Feedback: Kept as long as needed to respond and improve the App.
Subscription records: Kept as long as RevenueCat and Apple require for billing, tax and legal purposes.
Crash reports: Kept according to Firebase Crashlytics retention, currently 90 days.
Attribution data: Kept according to AppsFlyer's retention settings.
8. Deleting Your Account and Data
You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account in the App. When you do, we:
Delete your synced data from our cloud database.
Delete your account from Firebase Authentication.
Revoke your Sign in with Apple token, if you used Sign in with Apple.
Erase the App's data from your device, including alarms, history, mission photos and sleep recordings.
Deleting the App from your phone removes everything stored on the device, but does not delete your cloud account. Use Delete Account for that, or email us at bmgiosapp@gmail.com.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple: go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct information that is wrong.
Delete your information.
Export your information in a portable format.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
Complain to your local data protection authority.
India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023): you have the right to access a summary of your personal data and how it is processed, to correct, complete, update or erase it, to withdraw consent, to nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated, and to have your grievances addressed. Our grievance contact is bmgiosapp@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell your personal information. Sharing a device identifier with AppsFlyer for ad measurement, when you allow tracking, may count as "sharing" under California law. You can stop it at any time by turning tracking off as described in Section 6. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email bmgiosapp@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days, and we may need to verify your identity first.
10. Children
Alarmo is rated 4+ on the App Store and suits all ages, but it is not designed specifically for children.
Under 18 (India) or the local age of digital consent elsewhere (13 in the United States, 13 to 16 in the EEA and UK): a parent or legal guardian must give consent before the child creates an account or makes a purchase.
No tracking of children. We do not knowingly track children or target advertising at them. If we learn that a user is a child, we will not use AppsFlyer advertising attribution for that user, even if tracking was allowed.
Most of the App works without an account, and data such as mission photos and sleep recordings stays on the device.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information without your consent, contact us at bmgiosapp@gmail.com and we will delete it.
11. Security
We protect your information with industry-standard measures. All data sent between the App and our service providers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and our cloud database only lets each account read and write its own data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. International Transfers
Our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
13. Health Information
Sleep data in Alarmo is for your personal insight only. Alarmo is not a medical device, and we do not use your sleep data for advertising or share it with advertisers. See our Terms of Use for more.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we will notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
