We are looking for a dedicated postdoctoral researcher to join us in the Department of Economics. This position is part of the research project, "Are the Alps a Land of Opportunity? Intergenerational Correlation Estimates from Austria." The project is funded by the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) through its Anniversary Fund, for a two-year period.
The successful candidate will play a key role in a collaborative team, contributing to multiple academic papers.
You will work with high-quality administrative data from Austria, providing a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research.
Publications in leading peer-reviewed economics journals.
PhD degree in economics (alternatively in a related field)
Interested in one or multiple of the following fields: labor economics, health economics, or public economics
Strong background and interest in empirical economics / applied econometrics
Strong motivation to contribute to the research project
Fluency in English is required. (German skills are a plus)
Highly motivated, curious, well organized, team player

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €4.932,90 (14 times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on equivalent prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
