Thoughts prior to trip:

Back in 2003 I had the opportunity to make my initial hiking and light-climbing trip to the Alps with a long-time hiking partner (Dwayne). Over a 5-week time frame we were able to scope out the Alps in Austria, SW Germany, and Switzerland.

So, ready to return and share the next adventure with three of my friends from Salem.
