Volunteer

There are many ways parents and community members can volunteer on behalf of the school and our students and staff. Please consider volunteering during the school year. Below is a list of volunteer opportunities but is in no way a complete list. New ideas and help are always needed, welcome and appreciated.

• Volunteer in the classroom or on the playground during recess.
• Help serve food at the Grandparent's Lunch- hosted by Alpine Parents Group.
• Prepare a dessert for the Grandparent's Luncheon.
• Help run a station at the Walk A Thon.
• Help with the Halloween Bash at Hung A Lel Ti.
• Help with Fall or Spring Book Fairs
• Sell raffle tickets at the Holiday Program.
• Donate an item for the Holiday Raffle Basket.
• Participate in fundraising events.
• Attend an Alpine Parents Group meeting.
• Support Staff Appreciation Week in May by bringing in a breakfast food item.
• Help with the Bike A Thon: setting up, riding with students, contributing to the pot luck
• Help collect Box Tops for Education.
• Collect and submit Box Tops for Education as the Box Tops Coordinator for DVS.
• Serve on the School Site Council.
• Serve on the LCAP Parent Advisory Committee.
• Share any great ideas you have to improve our school with the Alpine Parents Group or School Administration.
