If you want a dedicated wireless monitoring solution for DJ mixing with ultra-low latency, choose AlphaTheta HP-TX01; if you need high-fidelity wired in-ear monitors for critical listening and immersive music playback, choose syeindunce Tangzu Xiao Qiao. These two devices occupy completely different worlds of audio engineering, serving distinct professional needs rather than competing for the same listener's attention.
• AlphaTheta HP-TX01: Its greatest strength is enabling cable-free DJ monitoring on any mixer with just 9 ms of latency, but it is a specialized transmitter that only works with specific SonicLink headphones like the HDJ-F10. This pick is strictly for DJs who need to move around the booth without tangles.
• syeindunce Tangzu Xiao Qiao: It offers an expansive soundstage and audiophile-grade tuning via a semi-open back design and CNC-machined aluminum shell, yet it is a fully wired device requiring a direct 3.5 mm connection. This pick is ideal for listeners who prioritize soundstage accuracy and build quality over wireless freedom.
• Who should buy what: If your primary workflow involves live performance and mixing on various mixers, the AlphaTheta system is the functional choice. If your goal is deep, emotional musical immersion with precise imaging, the Tangzu Xiao Qiao delivers the fidelity you crave.
The AlphaTheta HP-TX01 is not a standard pair of headphones; it is the missing link in a professional wireless monitoring ecosystem. Designed specifically for the DJ community, this compact transmitter plugs directly into the phone or 3.5 mm monitor output of almost any DJ mixer. Its primary function is to bridge the gap between traditional wired setups and the freedom of wireless operation. By utilizing the proprietary SonicLink technology, it achieves a staggering 9 ms latency, which is twenty times faster than common Bluetooth codecs. In a high-pressure mixing environment where beatmatching relies on split-second timing, this speed difference is the difference between a seamless flow and a disastrous trainwreck.
This device is built for the performer who refuses to be tethered to their equipment. The transmitter itself is small, light, and features a built-in battery capable of lasting up to nine hours. That duration is more than enough to cover a standard set, allowing you to step away from the decks, engage with the crowd, or adjust your gear without worrying about a headphone cable getting caught on a mic stand or tangled in your feet. The plastic enclosure keeps the weight down, making it easy to slip into a gig bag alongside your other essential gear. However, it is important to understand that this unit is useless without its partner, the HDJ-F10 headphones. It is a dedicated accessory, not a standalone audio solution.
You should consider the AlphaTheta HP-TX01 if you are a working DJ who already owns SonicLink-compatible headphones or plans to invest in the HDJ-F10. It is the perfect companion for those who mix on different venues' equipment constantly and need a reliable, universal way to go wireless. Conversely, if you are looking for general-purpose headphones for commuting, gaming, or casual listening, this product is a non-starter. It has no microphone for calls, no multipoint connectivity for switching between devices, and no bass boost for casual enjoyment. It exists solely to solve the problem of latency and cable management in a professional DJ context.

The syeindunce Tangzu Xiao Qiao represents a different philosophy entirely, focusing on the purity of the signal and the architecture of the earphone itself. These are in-ear monitors (IEMs) engineered with a semi-open back design, a feature that significantly reduces internal air pressure. This allows the 10mm dynamic driver to perform optimally, resulting in a wider soundstage and tighter bass control. The goal here is authenticity. Whether you are analyzing a complex orchestral piece or enjoying a subtle jazz track, the design aims to deliver clear, controlled audio that remains true to the original recording without artificial coloration.
Build quality is a standout feature of the Tangzu Xiao Qiao. The shells are crafted using advanced 3D resin printing combined with aerospace-grade CNC machining. This creates a durable, ergonomic fit that feels substantial in the hand while remaining lightweight during extended wear. The organic-mechanical design inspiration, visible in the open-frame metal faceplate, does more than look striking; it improves ventilation and reinforces durability. With a sensitivity of 111 dB and an impedance of 20 ohms, these IEMs are responsive and efficient, designed to work well with standard portable players as well as desktop amplifiers. They rely on sound isolation rather than active noise cancellation, using their physical seal to block out the outside world so you can focus entirely on the music.
This product is for the audiophile, the musician, or the serious listener who values precision above all else. If you spend hours dissecting mixes or simply want to hear every breath and string vibration in your favorite tracks, the Tangzu Xiao Qiao provides that level of detail. It is also a great choice for anyone who prefers a secure, comfortable fit for long sessions, thanks to the anatomically optimized resin shell. However, you must accept the trade-off of being wired. There is no Bluetooth, no battery to charge, and no wireless freedom. You are bound by the length of the 3.5 mm jack cable. If you need to move around freely while wearing them, or if you require a microphone for conference calls, this product will feel restrictive compared to modern wireless options.
• Best for wireless freedom → AlphaTheta HP-TX01: Only this system allows you to detach from the mixer and move around the stage without a cable, provided you have the compatible HDJ-F10 headphones.
• Best for soundstage and imaging → syeindunce Tangzu Xiao Qiao: The semi-open back design and precise tuning offer a much wider, more immersive acoustic space than the closed-back nature of most DJ monitors.
• Best for multi-device use → Neither: Both devices are single-purpose. The AlphaTheta is for one headphone model, and the Tangzu is a wired-only IEM; neither supports multipoint Bluetooth connections for switching between phones and laptops.
• Best for battery life → AlphaTheta HP-TX01: With a built-in battery lasting up to nine hours, it powers through long sets, whereas the Tangzu Xiao Qiao requires no power but is limited by cable length.
• Best for portability in a gig bag → AlphaTheta HP-TX01: Its small, lightweight form factor makes it easy to carry as part of a DJ kit, though the Tangzu is also compact, it lacks the utility of a wireless transmitter.
• Best for critical mixing and production → syeindunce Tangzu Xiao Qiao: The flat, accurate response and detailed frequency range make it superior for studio-style listening and checking mix balance.
• Best for durability and build → syeindunce Tangzu Xiao Qiao: The combination of CNC aluminum and resin construction offers a rugged, premium feel that stands up to daily handling.
• Best for Zoom calls → Neither: While both have excellent audio capabilities, neither includes a microphone or bone conduction technology required for optimal voice communication during virtual meetings.
In my opinion, if you are buying this comparison because you need a tool specifically for zoom calls, you might be looking at the wrong products entirely. Neither the AlphaTheta HP-TX01 nor the syeindunce Tangzu Xiao Qiao is designed for voice conferencing. The HP-TX01 is a specialized transmitter for DJs, and the Tangzu Xiao Qiao is a high-end wired music player. However, if forced to choose based on pure audio fidelity and the ability to focus deeply on content, the syeindunce Tangzu Xiao Qiao is the superior device. Its semi-open architecture and professional tuning provide a listening experience that feels more complete and emotionally resonant than the purely functional, albeit impressive, wireless DJ monitor. For anyone seeking the best with mic bone conduction headphones for zoom calls or sports earbuds for zoom calls, these products do not fit that specific use case, but for music lovers, the Tangzu wins on clarity and design.
No, neither product includes a built-in microphone or bone conduction technology suitable for voice transmission. The AlphaTheta HP-TX01 is a transmitter for DJ headphones only, and the Tangzu Xiao Qiao is a passive wired IEM without voice input hardware.
No, the HP-TX01 is a dedicated transmitter that only pairs with AlphaTheta's SonicLink headphones, specifically the HDJ-F10. It cannot connect to standard Bluetooth headphones or other brands.
No, the Tangzu Xiao Qiao are passive wired in-ear monitors. They draw power directly from your audio source via the 3.5 mm jack and do not have any internal batteries or charging cases.
The syeindunce Tangzu Xiao Qiao uses sound isolation via its physical fit in the ear canal to block external noise. The AlphaTheta HP-TX01 system relies on the passive isolation of the HDJ-F10 headphones, which are designed for club environments, but the Tangzu offers a more balanced approach for general listening.
