SCCC Eastern's campus will be celebrating Arbor Day and the recognition of the campus as a Tree Campus USA. There will be festivities (music, crafts, food) and, weather permitting, there will also be a tree planting.

The walk is part of a campaign by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This is an awareness and advocacy event in support of suicide prevention and those affected by a loss from suicide, and is in support of research put into education programs, research, and public policy.
