Allow me to introduce myself...

Hi!  My name is Alexis, full-time animal trainer, part-time pet sitter and dog walker.  It's safe to say that I have a passion for animal caretaking as you are likely to always find me with some sort of critter!

I was born and raised in Wisconsin with at least one four-legged sibling (the most I had at one time was three)!  My family started petsitting for friends and neighbors in the late 2000s and it's been a part of my routine ever since.  In April 2021, I moved to Connecticut for my job as an animal trainer at an aquarium.  At the time, I didn't have a pet of my own and I missed the company of my family dogs, so I started pet sitting and dog walking through an app.  My clientele grew quickly, and in the summer of 2024, I decided to take the leap and launch my own private dog walking and pet sitting business - Alpha Bish.

You may be wondering how the name of the company came to be.  For starters, I have a shirt that says "Alpha B***h" with a pawprint on it.  Alpha = pack leader, b***h = female dog, alpha b***h = female leader.  The name was fitting for the services I provide, but I wanted it to be more PG, so a friend of mine suggested Bish instead of the slang.  Tada!

Not only do I strive to provide quality dog walking and pet sitting services, but I am committed to give the owner's pet(s) undivided attention while maintaining their routine as best as possible while their owner is absent.
