What is AlphaBands?

AlphaBands is a machining-based ring making business. Each ring is carefully crafted, from the simplest band, to the most intricate inlay. All inlay rings are handmade, as are the majority of the designs on this site. AlphaBands allows you to receive rings that range from simple, set designs to one of a kind inlays. Most bands that are offered can be tailored to your liking, or you can request a completely custom band!

How Did AlphaBands Start?

AlphaBands was founded in Adrian, Michigan, by Janelle Carpenter who started making coin rings in early 2014. In 2016, she started working with round stock, manufacturing multiple styles of bands. Now, she is designing over 20 different styles of rings.

The Creation of the Name, Logo, and Slogan

Name

The prefix Alpha comes from two different meanings: "top dog", and the Greek Letter.

The suffix Bands comes from the type/style of rings AlphaBands produces.

When manufacturing our bands, we want them to be the best that they can be.

Logo

The Greek alpha letter with a band around it symbolizes our slogan, and the type of rings we create. A circle is never ending, along with of the memories a ring could potentially represent.

Slogan

The beginning of a significant memory roots from the definition of the Greek Letter (alpha) and the most popular reason people wear rings. The word alpha means the first, start, or beginning, while rings usually mark a significant memory.
