AlphaABC ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of children and families who use our app.
Information We Collect
From Parents: We collect email addresses solely for the purpose of PIN recovery. This information is stored securely using Firebase Authentication and is never shared with third parties.
From Students: We collect only first names for classroom identification purposes. No email addresses, last names, or other personal information is collected from students.
Usage Data: We collect quiz scores and spelling progress data to track learning improvement. This data is stored locally on the device and in Firebase under the teacher's account.
How We Use Information
Email addresses are used only for PIN recovery

Children's Privacy (COPPA) AlphaABC is designed for use by children under the supervision of parents and teachers. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not collect personal information from children under 13 without parental or school official consent. AlphaABC relies on the school official exception under COPPA for classroom use. Schools and teachers are responsible for ensuring appropriate use in accordance with their district's policies.
Data Storage All data is stored securely using Google Firebase. We do not sell, trade, or share personal information with third parties.
Teacher Data Teachers create accounts using email and password through Firebase Authentication. Teacher account data is used solely for classroom management within AlphaABC.
Advertising AlphaABC does not display advertisements.
