When the best treatment for a sick child is far from home, thankfully, families don’t have worry about where to stay. At a Ronald McDonald House, families can stay together, rest and recharge to remain strong for their child, interact with families going through similar experiences, enjoy home-cooked meals and receive compassionate hospitality from staff and volunteers — all just minutes from the hospital where their child is receiving care.
These are the heartfelt words of a mom, Liz Herrick, and they mean everything to us. Our Houses are built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child. Providing spaces for families to stay together, grow stronger and all be part of the solution for the sick child is what we are all about.
We host various philanthropy events to raise money for RMHC. See some of our favorites below!
We collect pop tabs, which are donated to RMHC in order to exchange for money for them! Also, we host a fundraiser bingo on our social media a few times a semester, where all the proceeds are donated to RMHC!
Pay to pie one of our sisters, all for RMHC!
We host a Gala where we raffle off baskets and pies. Get dressed in your favorite black, red, or yellow attire and join us!
We partnered with IHOP and hosted a fun pancake dinner, where all the proceeds went to RMHC!
