Alpha-1 Senior Command is made up of both Captains and Majors, these Officers lead and teach those below them and impact all members of the branch and its Sub-Branches.
Assists Command Overseers
Deals with every day & battalion issues.
Able to promote to NCO/Officer.
They should be doing tryouts whenever they can.
Captain may promoted to Sergeant Major.
Major may promote to Warrant Officer.
Alpha-1 Low Command (Lieutenants)
Alpa-1 1 Low Command is made up of both Second Lieutenants and First Lieutenants, all Lieutenants are tasked with learning their new position while positively leading their lower NCOs and Enlisted.
Supervise NCO and Enlisted.
Assists Senior Command and above.
Deals with everyday issues.
Able to promote to NCO.
Should be hosting Training whenever necessary.
Second Lieutenant may promote to Sergeant.
First Lieutenant may promote to Staff Sergeant.
Alpha-1 Junior Command
Alpha-1 Junior Command is made entirely up of Warrant Officers. All Warrant Officers are placed on a preliminary period while they undergo training and supervision before advancing to the Officer Corp.
Supervise NCO and Enlisted.
Assists Command Officers.
Deals with everyday issues.
Able to promote to NCO.
Should be hosting Training/Simulations/Missions, and Tryouts whenever possible.
Warrant Officer may be promoted to Corporal.
ALpha-1 Non-Commissioned Officers:
NCOs are expected to be knowledgeable about every aspect of the battalion. The duties of an NCO are to guide the enlisted in missions. In addition, NCOs are to be focusing on tryouts and managing the Enlisted.
Make sure the enlisted are up to A-1 standards.
You must be in the FTO program to become an NCO.
Prioritize training to keep the battalion growing.
Should be teaching and leading Enlisted to keep them in shape.
Should be assisting officers with managing the enlisted.
Must post at least 1 activity log per week.
Alpha-1 Enlisted
Enlisted are expected to learn most things about Alpha-1. They are encouraged to ask questions understand their limits and understand what A-1 offers. Enlisted personnel get promoted the most and should maintain A-1 standards to keep the branch reputable.
Follows orders from NCO+
Should be performing missions and assisting in tasks.
Attend Alpha-1 meetings unless you have a meeting excuse.
Act responsibly and respect others.
Must post at least 1 activity log per week.
Ranking Structure and Cooldowns
High Command
Alpha-1 High Command consists of the most outstanding officers within the branch, these positions are not given precipitously and must be earned through dedicated and hard work. All High Command promotions are done by the Director of Task Force and above. High Command is placed on a 2-week preliminary Trial Period where they are evaluated, the trial period they are then evaluated again to determine if they are eligible for further promotion. High Command ranks are as follows:
Vice Commander - VCMDR
Commander - CMDR
Officer Corp
All Officers from the ranks of Warrant Officer to Colonel are placed on a 2-week preliminary Trial Period. They are not eligible for promotion until the trial period ends. The Officer Corp ranks are as follows:
Warrant Officer - WO
Second Lieutenant - 2LT
First Lieutenant - 1LT
Captain - CPT
Major - MAJ
Lieutenant Colonel - LTCOL
Colonel - COL
Non-Commissioned Officers
Non-commissioned officers also have various cooldowns, they are not eligible for promotion until their cooldown has finished unless authorized to skip by E-11 High Command. Their ranks & cooldowns are as follows:
Sergeant - SGT (5 Day Cooldown)
Staff Sergeant - SSGT (5 Day Cooldown)
Master Sergeant - MSGT (7 Day Cooldown)
Sergeant Major - SGM (7 Day Cooldown)
Chief Master Sargeant - CSM (7day cooldown)
Enlisted
Enlisted personnel have various cooldowns, they are not eligible for promotion until their cooldown has finished unless authorized to skip by A-1 High Command. Their ranks & cooldowns are as follows:
Recruit - RCT (No Cooldown | Removed if not promoted in 10 days)
Private - PVT (1 Day Cooldown)
Private First Class - PFC (2 Day Cooldown)
Lance Corporal - LCPL (3 Day Cooldown)
Corporal - CPL (3 Day Cooldown)
Reserves
Reserves are given to Officers and Command Members that assisted and led the Alpha-1 Branch. All Officers who retire from the branch at the rank of Second Lieutenant or higher are given reserves. Removal and transfers are not eligible for reserves. Reserves are not given precipitously, and achieving a rank does NOT mean you are deserving of reserves.
