Flag laws: Alpen is very different from other bodies of state, and we have strange flag customs. we have two different flags federal and civilian. the federal is typically not put outside by civilians but is common inside homes. the civilian flag is not used in official buildings. the civilian flag is just the federal flag without the Alpen crest. Alpen's Holidays: April 25th, "Moving Day", which celebrates the mass migration of Alpenese to our homeland. January 18th, "Remembrance Day" or "The Day of Remembering" this holiday celebrates the founding of the German empire.
Colonies: Alpen has colonies in other states besides Maine
Alpen recognizes: Alpen has recognized all countries in the UN on 08/29/2022. Alpen stopped recognizing Kosovo on 11/03/2022 and stopped recognizing Israel on 04/04/2023
