Breakfast, lunch, and dinner can be reserved through the organization. Alpe d’HuZes offers meal options, and we will coordinate these together.
Other options: There are supermarkets and multiple restaurants on the mountain.
During the ascent: The organization provides water and simple snacks along the route. However, we strongly recommend bringing your preferred sports food and drinks, as demand for supplies on the mountain is high.
Clothing
Before & around the event: Hugo Snippert is designing our training shirt, featuring all sponsor logos. Further details will follow.
During the event: Official Alpe d’HuZes shirts with the Oncode logo printed large on the back have been ordered. These will be collected on May 11th at Papendal and distributed shortly before the event.
Weather considerations: As the event starts early (4:30 AM), bring warm clothing for the morning.
Bicycles and walking shoes
Needless to say, your gear will need to be in superb condition for the event:
Cyclists:
Mandatory: Front and rear lights (for early morning visibility), a helmet, and official Alpe d’HuZes clothing.
Check your bike: Ensure your tires and brakes are in excellent shape, as they will endure significant wear during the event.
Walkers & runners:
Wear well-conditioned shoes suited for the ascent—not brand new, but also not too worn out.
