Hi! My name is Alondra Ponce (She/her/hers/I) and I am 19 years old. I am currently a Criminal Justice major. Since I was a child, I had always wanted to make the world a better place, I know one person is not enough but I believe that with effort, patience, and hope, there can be a difference. My career path that I have planned at the moment is to attain more knowledge of the world both past and present events and to continue with school until I get accepted into the FBI academy and from there just to move up. It has been a dream of mine and now its more of a goal and I am determined to make it my reality. The reason why I am taking this class is because I needed to add another class to my schedule but I also found the topic geology interesting and exciting as well. I have always been fascinated by the idea of our world and our ground. A particular interest of mine as well are earthquakes, the way they work and what causes them. That is also a reason as to why I am taking this class. I know there is much more than that to geology but that is also a reason as to why I decided to take this class. I grew up in Corona, Ca. When I was one day old, my parents bought a house in Corona and I had lived there my whole life until last year. We moved in mid july because they thought it would be a nice change. I am pretty sure we are moving back because we do not like it up here as much as we thought we would. I have many passions and most of them include the beauty of nature so to list them all would be endless. Down below, I added a slideshow of some pictures I took. Most of them were taken in LA.
