I'm a Chicago-based artist and current senior at Lake Forest College majoring in Biology and Visual Scientific communication. My work involves the exploration of a wide variety of mediums including but not limited to: digital illustrations/collages and other digital design work, darkroom, pinhole, and digital photography, pencil/ink illustrations, charcoal, oil, and acrylic.
Many of my pieces are tied with self-identity and cultural exploration, as well as exploring the fun side of uncertainty. In more recent years, I have also fostered experience with digital design work, creating logo design solutions, book covers, posters/flyers for advertisements, and other informational material.
I believe visuals are an incredibly important tool for education and as someone interested in the intersection of art and science, I hope to continue to work in the creative field, designing material that can be used to help teach science.
