Aloha Kids is a STEM enrichment program bringing hands-on engineering and building workshops to homeschool co-ops and communities throughout Central Oahu. Our mission is to make STEM education accessible, engaging, and fun for children ages 4-12 through creative building challenges and problem-solving activities.
About Aloha Kids
Aloha Kids was founded by an experienced educator with over 20 years in elementary education, literacy coaching, and STEM instruction. As a former classroom teacher and instructional specialist, I saw firsthand how hands-on engineering experiences transform children's confidence and problem-solving abilities.
I created Aloha Kids to bring structured, high-quality STEM enrichment directly to Central Oahu communities - because your children deserve access to hands-on education close to home.

Our workshops aren't just "free play with LEGO." Every session follows research-based teaching methods designed for how young children actually learn:
Sequential skill-building - Students progress through foundational concepts before tackling complex challenges
Hands-on discovery - Kids learn by doing, experimenting, and problem-solving together
Developmentally appropriate - Activities are carefully designed for specific age groups (4-6 and 6-12)

Aloha Kids specializes in bringing structured, multi-week STEM enrichment to homeschool co-ops and community organizations throughout Central Oahu. We're fully mobile - we bring all supplies, materials, and curriculum directly to your location.
Recurring Programs (8-week series)
Little Engineers Academy (Ages 4-6) - Early engineering exploration using hands-on building challenges designed for little hands and big imaginations.
WeDo Robotics - Introduction to robotics through building, programming, and problem-solving with motorized models.
Simple Machines - Discover how levers, pulleys, gears, and wheels make work easier through interactive building projects.
Aloha Engineering Level 1 - Foundational mechanical engineering exploring gears, rotation transmission, and basic mechanisms.
Aloha Engineering Level 2 - Advanced gear systems, compound mechanisms, and engineering design challenges.
Single-Session Themed Workshops
Movie-Themed Engineering Workshops - Build cities, vehicles, and worlds inspired by popular films through collaborative engineering challenges.
Marble Run Madness - Design, construct, and test elaborate marble track systems using engineering principles.
Explode & Explore: Volcano Lab - Hands-on earth science combining volcanic eruptions, geology, and explosive experiments.
Artist Mosaic Masters - Study famous artists and recreate their masterpieces using mosaic building techniques.
