Here is a little bit about me and my family.
About Me
Hello! My name is Gayle and I am the head of Almos Perfect Photography! I am a new photographer in the business and have only dabbled a little bit in Senior Pictures and a few, small family sessions from time to time. I started out with photography about 10 years ago as a hobby and trying to learn some skills that I could use to advance my photography. My goal with my sessions is to provide a fun, engaging experience for everyone I photograph.
Career
I have always had a passion for the arts. I was drawn to photography when I was a creator and editor for our high school yearbook. I let it take a back burner when I went to college and began taking courses to be a teacher. I am currently teaching 5th grade during the day and, as much as I love my job, I would love to dive back into this passion I let go of when I focused more on my education degree. I would also like to be able to use this path as a way to bring back some of the joy, that I had when I was taking pictures regularly, for myself and my clients. I can't wait to see what we accomplish together during our sessions!

My Family
My husband, Sam, and I got married in September 2024 and currently live in Topeka, KS with our 2 cats, Thea & Bart. Eventually we would like to make our home elsewhere but right now we aren't sure where or when that would be so we are just enjoying life the only ways we know how. We are both avid video gamers and I enjoy reading in the spare time I have. We love traveling and have been as far south as central Texas and as far west as Las Vegas, Nevada. Our next goal is a trip to either the west coast or the Caribbean Islands.
