App: Uninstaller (Vietnamese name: “Gỡ Ứng Dụng”), Android package com.gonmay.app
Effective date: October 26, 2026 · Last updated: October 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data the Uninstaller app (“the app”) reads, what stays on your device, what is sent to Google services, and the choices you have. It is provided by Hoanio Studio (“we”, “us”).
In short
No account, no sign-in, and no servers of our own.
Your list of installed apps, usage statistics, APK files and uninstall history are processed only on your device. We never upload them.
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. The app also uses Google Firebase Analytics (usage statistics) and Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports). These Google services receive device and usage data such as your advertising ID, but never your app list or app names.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, ads and analytics follow the consent choice you make in Google’s consent form, and you can change it at any time in the app.
The optional Pro purchase (“Remove ads”) is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details.

We are responsible for the app. For data processed by Google’s services (Section 4), Google also acts under its own terms and privacy policy.
The app is a tool for viewing and uninstalling apps and managing APK files. To do this it reads the following from Android. All of it is processed on your device, is not sent to us or to Google, and is not included in analytics or crash reports.
For each installed app: name, package name, icon, version, install and update dates, installer (for example Google Play or another source), category, enabled/system status, signing information, the permissions it requests, and storage size (app, data and cache) as reported by Android.
Why: to list, search, sort and filter your apps, show app details and size, suggest apps you might remove, and start an uninstall when you ask for one.
Only if you turn on Usage Access for the app in Android Settings, the app reads usage statistics that Android keeps, such as when each app was last used, screen time per app, mobile and Wi-Fi data used per app, and apps that run in the background.
Why: to show screen time, data usage, background activity and storage reports, and to find apps you have not opened for a long time. Without Usage Access, the basic list and uninstall features still work.
The permission review screen checks which apps hold sensitive permissions (for example SMS or background location) and which apps are enabled as accessibility services, notification listeners or device administrators.
Why: to help you spot apps with powerful access. The app only reads these settings; it never changes them, and it never reads the content or data inside other apps.
The app only opens APK files that you pick with the Android file picker. It reads the file name, size, modification date and the app information inside the APK (name, package name, version, icon). To read an APK it may make a temporary copy in its private cache, which is deleted after reading. The app keeps access to picked files so it can show them again and delete them when you ask. APK files are never uploaded, and the app never installs APKs.
Your settings (theme, vibration, notification choices, thresholds such as “large app” size and “unused” days, an optional monthly mobile data allowance you enter).
Apps you excluded from suggestions, onboarding state, and uninstalls waiting for confirmation.
Uninstall and APK deletion history (time, app name, package name, result, estimated size freed), limited to the latest 120 entries.
Cached app information and short-term size history (a few days) so screens open quickly and show changes.
Your Pro status and the time it was last verified with Google Play.
Your last ad consent answer, so ads can start correctly on the next launch.
This data stays in the app’s private storage. See Section 8 for how to delete it.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: The app’s core purpose is managing and uninstalling apps, so it needs to see all installed apps. The list is used only on your device.
PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS (Usage Access): Optional. You grant it yourself in Android Settings; it enables last-used dates, screen time, data usage, background activity and app sizes. You can revoke it at any time.
REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES: Lets the app ask Android to uninstall an app. Android shows its own confirmation for every app; the app cannot uninstall anything silently.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Optional (Android 13+). Shows the notifications described in Section 7.
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used by Google AdMob, Firebase and Google Play Billing to load ads, send statistics and crash reports, and process purchases.
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, phone calls, precise or approximate location, or shared storage.
The app has no servers of its own. The only data sent off your device goes to the Google services below, over encrypted connections (unencrypted HTTP is disabled in the app).
The free version shows app open, interstitial and native ads from Google AdMob. To serve, measure and protect ads against fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect your IP address (from which Google may infer an approximate location), device and operating system information, your advertising ID, app version, and information about ads you see and tap. Whether ads are personalized depends on your consent choice (Section 5), your region, and your device and Google account settings. Ads are not loaded at all for Pro users.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. It collects device information (model, Android version, language, country), an app instance ID, your advertising ID when allowed, and usage events. The events the app sends contain only codes and counts, for example: app opened, onboarding completed or skipped, which feature screen was opened, whether an uninstall or delete action succeeded and how many items (a number, not names), a setting changed, a notification opened, and ad events (requested, loaded, shown, clicked, and estimated revenue per impression). The app never sends app names, package names, your app list, APK contents or anything you type. We do not set a user ID.
If the app crashes or hits a serious error, Crashlytics sends a crash report: the error and stack trace, time, app version, device model, Android version, CPU architecture, free memory and storage, and a Crashlytics installation ID. We use it only to find and fix bugs. Crash reports contain no app list, names or personal details we add.
If you buy Pro, Google Play handles the payment. See Section 6.
Device or other IDs (advertising ID, app instance / installation IDs). Sent to: Google (AdMob, Firebase). Purpose: Advertising, analytics, crash diagnostics, fraud prevention. Notes: Ads and analytics follow your consent where required; reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings.
App activity (feature use and ad interactions, as codes and counts). Sent to: Google (Firebase Analytics, AdMob). Purpose: Analytics, advertising. Notes: Follows your consent where required.
App info and performance (crash logs, diagnostics). Sent to: Google (Crashlytics, AdMob). Purpose: Fixing bugs, app stability, ad delivery. Notes: Collected when a crash occurs.
Approximate location (derived by Google from your IP address). Sent to: Google (AdMob). Purpose: Ad delivery and fraud prevention. Notes: The app never requests location permission.
Purchase history (Pro). Sent to: Google Play. Purpose: Processing the purchase and restoring Pro. Notes: Only if you buy Pro.
Installed apps, usage statistics, APK files, uninstall history. Sent to: Nobody (stays on your device). Purpose: App features. Notes: Not collected.
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with anyone other than the Google services above. Google may store and process data in other countries. Google’s handling of this data is described in:
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows Google’s consent form (Google User Messaging Platform, which follows the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework) before any ads are requested. You can consent, refuse, or choose purposes and vendors.
Until you answer, Firebase Analytics runs with all consent types denied (no ad storage, ad user data, ad personalization or analytics storage), and no ads are requested.
Your answer then controls both ads and Firebase Analytics (Google Consent Mode). If you refuse, Analytics stays in its restricted mode, and Google may show only limited, non-personalized ads if the framework allows it.
To change your choice: open the app’s Settings → Ad privacy, or Privacy → Ad choices. This option appears whenever Google requires it for your region.
Everywhere, you can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in Android settings (for example Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
Crash reports (Section 4.3) are not tied to ad consent, because they are needed to keep the app working and contain no advertising data.
Pro (“Remove ads”) is an optional one-time purchase made through Google Play. Google Play processes the payment under its own terms; we never receive your card or payment details, name or email. The app receives from Google Play only whether you own Pro and the purchase status, and stores your Pro status on your device so ads stay off. Restoring Pro on a new device or after reinstalling asks Google Play again, using the Google account you bought it with. Pro removes ads; once you have Pro, the app no longer loads any ads.
If you allow notifications, the app can tell you when a new app is installed (with its size, source and notable permissions), remind you about installed apps you have not opened, and send a weekly summary. To do this, Android’s background scheduler (WorkManager) runs a check on your device from time to time. All of this is computed on your device; nothing is sent anywhere. You can turn each type off in the app’s Settings, or turn off all of the app’s notifications in Android settings.
Data on your device (Section 2.5) is kept until you delete it. You can clear the history inside the app. Uninstalling the app or Settings → Apps → Uninstaller → Storage → Clear data deletes everything the app stored, and also resets the Firebase identifiers used by the app.
Temporary APK copies are deleted right after reading.
Backup: the app does not use Android cloud backup. On Android 12 and later, if you use Android’s device-to-device transfer when setting up a new phone, only your settings and uninstall history may be copied to it. Pro status, picked files and cached data are not copied.
Firebase Analytics keeps user-level data for the retention period set in our Firebase project (no longer than 14 months). Crashlytics keeps crash reports for up to 90 days. AdMob and Google Play keep data according to Google’s policies.
Because there is no account and the data sent to Google is linked only to random device identifiers, we cannot look you up by name or email. To ask us to delete analytics or crash data, email support@hoanio.com; we will explain how to find your app instance ID, or you can simply clear the app’s data, which disconnects you from the old identifiers.
Consent: personalized ads, ad measurement and analytics storage, where consent is required.
Legitimate interests: crash reporting to keep the app stable and secure, non-personalized ads to fund a free app, and fraud prevention.
Contract: providing Pro after you buy it.
Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, the UK, or US states such as California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You can:
change your ad consent in the app (Section 5);
reset or delete your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in Android settings;
refuse or revoke Usage Access and notifications in Android settings;
clear the history in the app, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app;
contact us at support@hoanio.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
The app is a general utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us at support@hoanio.com and we will help remove it.
Data the app saves is kept in its private storage, which other apps cannot read. All network traffic from the app uses encrypted connections. The app never reads data inside other apps, and every uninstall goes through Android’s own confirmation. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we keep what leaves your device to the minimum described above.
Ads, Google Play and links in the app (such as Google’s policy pages or Android settings) may open other apps or websites. Their own privacy policies apply there.
We may update this policy when the app, the services it uses, or the law changes. The new version will be posted at this address with a new “Last updated” date. If a change significantly affects how your data is used, we will also tell you in the app or on the Google Play listing.
