ROWE. On the 14th instant, after a painful illness, HARRY ALBERT, infant son of J. A. and Eliza Rowe, aged 22 months.
The idol has gone from the household's grasp
To sleep in the lap of the earth;
From the boson of friends to death's cold clasp,
As a cherub of eternal birth.
Then weep not kind friends, though he suffered below,
His anguish is now at an end;
He's free from this world, all its cares and its woe,
To meet him, prepare to ascend.
The dear little sufferer has gone to his rest,
To smile in the kingdom above;
With the sainted, the pure, the holy and blest,
On the bosom of eternal love.
His little bright face is now radiant with light—
With the light that shone round the cross,
And his spotless young soul, in its heavenward flight,
Can scarcely be counted thy loss.
