About Me 

Hi, and thanks for stopping by! 

My name is Ally Velasquez. I am originally from Torrance, California, but I have spent more than half my life in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. 

I graduated from West Chester University in May 2025 with a BSEd: English. 

I am interested in teaching English because I enjoy writing freely and creatively. My goal is to encourage my students to transport themselves to other worlds through reading and to speak passionately through writing. In my future classroom, I envision student collaboration, open discussions, and hands-on experiences. I want my students to not only achieve success in class, but also in the real world. And I intend to show that through my teaching.
