This privacy policy explains how AllyDesiing (Ally Design Co, "we") collects, uses and protects personal information when you buy from our Etsy shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/AllyDesiing ) and how our Pinterest app, Etsy Studio, handles data from Pinterest.
Information we collect
To fulfil your order, Etsy shares with us your name, email address, the items you bought and any message you send us. We sell digital downloads only, so we do not need your postal address. We never see your payment details; Etsy handles all payments.
Why we use it
We use this information only to deliver your order, answer your questions and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not send marketing messages, and we never sell or rent your information.
Sharing
We share information only with Etsy, which runs the marketplace, and when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order information only as long as needed for your order and for legal and tax records.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing us at allydesignnco@gmail.com . If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Our Pinterest app (Etsy Studio)
Etsy Studio is a private tool we use to publish Pins for our own Etsy listings on our own Pinterest account. Etsy Studio uses the Pinterest API. Etsy Studio and Ally Design Co are not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with Pinterest.
Pinterest data we use
With our permission, Etsy Studio reads our own Pinterest username and list of boards, creates boards and publishes Pins. It does not access any other Pinterest user's data, and it never combines Pinterest data with buyer information.
How we store it
Pinterest access tokens are stored only on our own computer. Our username and board list are kept only in the app's temporary memory, never saved to disk, refreshed at least every hour and cleared when the app is closed or disconnected. For each Pin we publish, we keep its Pin ID, board ID and board name in a local database on our computer so we do not publish the same listing twice.
When access ends
When we disconnect Etsy Studio, the Pinterest access tokens are deleted from our computer immediately. If access is revoked in Pinterest settings instead, the tokens stop working at once and Etsy Studio deletes them the next time it tries to use them. The record of our published Pins (Pin ID, board ID and board name) is kept only while we use Etsy Studio and is deleted within 30 days after we stop using it.
No selling or sharing of Pinterest data
We do not sell, resell, rent, license or distribute Pinterest content or any data obtained from Pinterest to any third party. Pinterest data is never sent to the AI service: only our own listing titles, tags and descriptions (not personal data) are sent to an AI text service (Claude by Anthropic) to draft Pin text.
