Eboni is a dedicated mother (MUVA) of four children and two godchildren, with a loving life partner. Community engagement and transformative initiatives are her passions. Her areas of expertise encompass advocacy, birth education, mental wellness, chronic illnesses and lactation support to name a few. Some of her professional certifications are Certified Health Connect One Community Doula, Certified DONA International Birth Doula,Community Doula trainer, and Doula Mentor. She has been an active collaborator with the Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG) since 2020, harnessing her unique voice to share her experiences, expertise, and personal narrative across diverse forums, advancing social change and justice efforts. Her focus has broadened to policy and legislation since 2021, and in 2023, she joined the South Carolina Doula Steering Committee to advocate for doula Medicaid reimbursement. Eboni's purpose is advancing equity, breaking generational cycles/patterns, and honoring her ancestors.
