Extensions are great for adding features to the basic Chrome browser to let you work smarter and enjoy a better overall web experience.
Always obtain extensions from a trusted source like the Chrome Web Store otherwise you could get caught out by the bad guys.
If you are new to using extensions then take a look at this guide called "Install and manage extensions".
See Extensions List [sub-page] for notes on several popular extensions. Remember if you are not sure what you are doing read up on things first and try to experiment with the extensions in a controlled environment.
